Om arrangementet
The global balance of power is shifting rapidly. State actors act more antagonistically and contrary to Nordic interests. Hybrid threats, information manipulation and geopolitical tensions are testing Nordic societies.
In parallel, the media landscape is fragmenting, with social media and alternative channels challenging established sources of information and trust.
What does this new reality mean for Nordic preparedness, democratic resilience and public communication?
This conversation examines what such a new world order means for Nordic preparedness, communication, democratic resilience and security.
• Who are behind hybrid threats and information manipulation, what are their most commonly used tactics?
• What role do governments, researchers, media and civil society have in building resilience, reducing polarisation and ensuring trust in the face of hostile influences?
• Should the Nordic countries develop joint strategies to strengthen societal and youth resilience?
