For decades, the rules-based world order provided a stable environment for trade by harmonizing policies and regulatory frameworks. Companies now face the challenge of operating in a climate of new geopolitical and geoeconomic risks, having to evaluate the impact of tariffs on prices, supply chains, consumption and growth. To face the uncertainties, some experts advise replacing rigid formats with flexible models. But predictability is necessary for long-term business planning. Our speakers will discuss changes in international trade, measures taken by countries to de-risk markets and assess the emerging new global alignments, partnerships and strategies.
